This is the now famous and moving poster of the 3 Firefighters making sure "Old Glory" never stop waving. The matting is 3 suedes, the top mat is storm grey which is spaced off the second mat marine and the 3rd mat is garnet.
The top mat is spaced off the second mat for 2 reasons. One to give us enough depth for the NYFD pewter helmets which are located left and right of the plaque. The 2nd reason it creates a window affect in to the picture. The stair step cut of the mat really drew our eye to the angular lines in the wreakage behind the Firefighters. The eagle cut outs are not only a symbol of our strength as a country and our freedom, but the customer has this same eagle prominent in his store. The frame is a Larson & Juhl wood.
