Alaskan Artist Dot Bardarson likes to stretch your imagination with shapes and movement bigger than life. Her Northwest themes are exuberant, with colorful, well-balanced design and a willingness to take risks. As a well known Alaskan of award winning watercolors and public art commissions, Bardarson has also been an art juror, artist in residence, amateur theater set designer, and past board member of the Alaskan State Council on the Arts. Dot's early career included deck-handing on a work boat and raising her family in remote fish canneries.
